We are about to polish our enormous topaz 😱💎 Before we start we need to prepare the lap by carrying out a process called hacking. This is where two red bricks are used to scratch the surface of the polishing lap. This creates small grooves in the surface of the wheel, allowing the diamond powder to stick to the wheel filling those grooves.
